Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

It’s not the worst. It’s a real molasses heavy, artificially sweetened rum.

You can tell there is a cheap rum base and an insane amount of artificial spices involved, it's tasty but tastes synthetic, better than the likes of captain morgan spiced gold, one of best supermarket spiced out there in UK, I will only buy if desperate or on offer.
A very nice, dark and sweet rum to mix with coke, ginger beer or to drink pure.
If they put half the money they spend on adverts on actually making this drinkable then they would have a decent rum. Only good thing about this isbthe adverts and label.
Better raffined version of captain Morgan spiced rum
But still basic for parties and its not a bad thing for this one
