Kraken Black Spiced

I like this with sodas. Dr Pepper, cherry sodas. The dark color also fits the taste. It takes a couple seconds for the aromatics to rise up.

Not to drink this rhum pure. Wel very nice to mix with cola.

For its price it is one of the best spiced rums. It has a solid body, it is smooth and you can feel a lot of spice with vanilla. Very good for cocktails.

Arrgh, this be one kraken I don't fear! She be a lusty and sweet mistress full of vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, and spice. No burn here! There be no call to mix this with other libations. If the blood in your veins be milk, you might do otherwise. Aye, to each his own. For the rest of ya seafarin' dogs, heave to and get Kraken!

I have some tiki friends that use this instead of a Goslings - I like both but for different things. If you wanna spice things up a bit in the regular dark rum land, give this a try! :)

Starts with a dark nice color and some spices in the nose. However, it has some rough edges and I didn't find it very smooth. It's also a bit higher in proof, so not a great supper. The flavor, for a spiced rum, is good. But, it works best in something like an eggnog rather than straight or in a nice cocktail.

Please don't change the ingredients, one person said it had to much spice and ginger. It's just right. They can add ice if they think its to strong.

Very average rum in my opinion but I’d order it if there is nothing else at the bar
