Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

I like this one to mix with coke but if you're looking for a sipping rum, this will never be one that I'll prefer.
Very sweet spiced rum, good for mixing. Not great by itself due to the strong added flavor and sugar.
The themed bottle and label are cool, but this rum is, in my opinion, overpriced for what it offers.
Apart from the cool bottle and name this is AWFUL , its that bad i didnt even keep it in my cabinet for emergancys, alot of people on here seem to like it , i can only think they mixed it with battary acid to improve the taste.
Go to drink on a night out. Smooth and easy going. Great flavour and mixture
Solid cheaper option. Prefer not to have it straight.
THis is a fool's markketing rum. Not up to any of my expectations.
This is a basic rum. Lots of spice. Goes well as a mixer. One if my favorites is kraken, butterscotch schnapps, and a splash of coke. Or this with Dr pepper. Can't imagine drinking this neat.
Not a bad rum, more of a mixer than a sipping rum. Still an enjoyable social drink.
