Philippines | Aged | 40% ABV
Don Papa Small Batch Rum is produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company on the southern island of Negros in the Philippines. The rum is distilled from molasses, then aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels, and lastly charcoal filtered.
The name Don Papa rum was inspired by Papa Isio, a leader of the Philippine revolution against the Spanish who led his island to independence before joining the main revolutionary movement.

Smooth but quite busy with different flavors that jump around on the back end and from sip to sip
It really reminds me of a good quality creame soda with a hell of a kick, has a very strong caramel aftertaste. I like it, not the best but definitely not the worst rum. I really love the glass
Don Papa Small Batch hat ein tolles Aroma und ein unvergleichlichen Geschmack. Selbst als Mixgetränk mit Coca Cola eine gute Wahl.
La base ......... .............................
For me too sweet, tastes like a cheewing gum. Nothing special, not a real pleasure.
Decent aroma, slightly sweet , not overpowering, a good decent honest tasting rum
I like the rum a lot is is very sweet and not hard to drink pure, with cola it ist the best.

Smells a lot like a vanilla and lemonade ice cream float.
"For all its sweet sugariness, its really very drying and bitter on the palate once it all settles down."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
