Philippines | Aged | 40% ABV
Don Papa Small Batch Rum is produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company on the southern island of Negros in the Philippines. The rum is distilled from molasses, then aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels, and lastly charcoal filtered.
The name Don Papa rum was inspired by Papa Isio, a leader of the Philippine revolution against the Spanish who led his island to independence before joining the main revolutionary movement.

I enjoyed this as mixed or straight to me it’s a nice spiced rum. I’d rank it a middle class rum but top of middle class sweet and smooth.
Rum s marketingově vybroušenym příběhem. Rumově exotická destinace (Filipiny). Docela sladký (není to elixír)a opravdu intenzivně navoněný vanilkou. Vanilka působí dost uměle. Na začátek s rumy v pohodě, zkušenější už se mu asi vyhnou. S cenou podobný příběh jako bumbu = předražený.
This rum has a definite kick to it that I should have expected but didn’t.
The sharpness of this drink was not a welcome one. The flavour was tolerable but wasn’t able to overshadow the burn that arrived with each swallow.
Probably won’t be getting this again
Very smooth but a strong vanilla taste which i like but can see why people have rating this quite low in my opioion its over powering im a fan why i rated it a seven
dirnkable for starters bit too too many artificial flavours for that price. Dissapointing rum.
All Don papa series are quite flavoured. I had my moments with my wife, when I liked it very much, but on the other hand, it is an sweet average. Women like it very much.
Not bad, but the vanilla is overpowering. Lot's of rums have the vanilla note, but this one has an artificial note to it. Has has definite notes of orange and and heavy sweetnes - maybe cotton candy?? It is lacking the depth that better rums give with the flavors seeming to be artificially added.
Tastes like the latest.designer drug - in a good way - geil as we say in German. Artifical? Maybe! Who cares if it is great? Some people are so stuck up - my senses relate to the stuff - makes me feel youg again.

Smells a lot like a vanilla and lemonade ice cream float.
"For all its sweet sugariness, its really very drying and bitter on the palate once it all settles down."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is some sort of sugar Liquer with orange sirup, yess it is disgusting! Yess if you like it, you know nothing about Noble Drinks!
It is not worth a single cent of its 36 € !
