Tasted it with friend in a bar, very good sweet flavour, good smell, rich taste and pleasant afterburn. I can imagine drink it for a long long time ;) you won't make a mistake with it!
Parádní záležitost. Vřele doporučuji. Velmi mohutná chuť.
$36. Mediocre. This rum does not prove itself as a good sipping rum. Heavy smoked oak notes predominate, followed by a hint of vanilla. Pyrat is outstanding for sipping: I haven't found another to match Pyrat. Yet.
This is a really sweet rum, IMO great for drinking neat. Certainly on the fruity side, with not much bite. The rum flavor is a bit hidden, so depending on whether you like that or not will determine if you like this rum.
I really enjoyed this rum especially at its price point! It is very smooth with little burn, it is almost like a desert rum, so if you are in the mood for something different or new to rum this is a great place to start
Nice dark color. Smells vanilla and caramel.
The taste it's sweet with tones of vanilla and spices.
I really enjoy this one
Too sweet for myself. You can tell it is a higher category rum, and is definitely worth trying. However, I rather stick with my other choices.
passabile, dolce senza particolare complessità. Non lo comprerei
This rum got a lot of vanilla and is quiet sweet but it has a nice finish.

I really wanted to like the Zaya...affordable and the descriptions were so appealing. I found it however to be too sweet (for me) and having too much upfront spice; it reminded me of some lesser quality "spiced" rums. IF one was a fan of sweeter, fruitier rum drinks (half the world perhaps...) then this might be ideal for that purpose.
