Ron Zacapa 23 Solera

Après un première dégustation. J ai commandé une bouteille de 1L. Et bien même s il est agreable, je suis un peu déçu. Je vais devoir un peu mieux travailler mon palet.

I am new to rum tasting. have always liked the basic dark rums and decided to try something a little higher end. I bought this based on a recommendation in Liquor.com and was floored by it - totally unexpected complexity relative to what I have always enjoyed. Can't say I love it, and am too new to provide a good description, but I can say its the reason I found this website and the motivator to get out and try some more of the aged rums.

Zacapa 23 solera är en kvalitte rom utan tvekan den funkar i alla väder, kan dock tycka att det smakar olika beroende på vilken flaska man öppnar.

Sok mindent lehet rá mondani, de ez egy jól összerakott rum. Édes lett valóban, de ez itt most nem egy rossz rumot próbál elfedni, csak próbál a közízlésnek leginkább megfelelni. Ha a cél az, hogy új rajongókat szerezzen a minőségi rumoknak és a márkának, arra tökéletesen megfelel. Kellően komplex és harmonikus hogy bevezessen a jó rumok értékeibe, de mentes a harsány túlzásoktól, amik miatt bizony lehet nem szeretni a rumot. Unalmasan jó rum, én ezt mondanám rá. Ha egy Flor de Cana vagy egy Appleton 12 éves jött volna velem szembe a kezdetekkor, nem biztos, hogy elindulok ezen az úton.

I did not find anything special about this rum. I liked it but not enough to buy another bottle, still have half left and it has been over 2 years. There is better Rum for less money.

Ron zacapa is really good choice when there is a desire to make impression, event sweet enough for a woman :)

This was my first foray into rum other than swill like Bacardi or Captain Morgan, so saying I was blown away is an understatement.

This stuff is incredibly smooth, starts off with spice and finishes with molasses. No heat at all and it lingers on the tongue a good while after the drink is gone. For me, it is one of those bottles that everybody should have and a great sipper to be a standard to judge against.

Enjoy this very much, however with more experience now there are other runs I prefer in this price range. Glad you can get this in Weatherspoons now though!!

Amazing, absolut amazing. Is sweet but it taste great and please never ruin it by mixing it with cola. This is a premium straight up rum.
