United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

For being the same price range as Captain Morgans, the Oakheart brings a more authentic taste. Especially the vanilla taste makes this great mixer for Cuba Libre or Rum & Coke.
But I've had worse than this. I guess as far as spiced goes it works. Would not buy. Trying it at a friend's house.
It's a cheap rum, but is one of the best in it's price range. It is easy to drink and it has a soft smokyness.
To me it's not anything special it's ok with coke but nit my type of choice
Its good and cheap if you want to get drunk. It is a better choise than morgan by far.
Mix it with a cola of some sort it. It has some nice flavors to it, but it can not compete. You get what you pay for
Marketing is strong, rum is generic with a smoky texture.
Je pense qu'il n'est plus à présenter, mais pour ce qui est de mon avis strictement personnel, il ne se déguste pas vraiment. Il se mélange bien avec du Cola, car pur il devient vite écœurant.
Just a good rum, taste a lot of vanilla and some orange peel and a little caramel. Just a fine rum to start with.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Je ne l'ai pas tant aimé il est très sucrée mais ne démontre aucune saveur vraiment prononcé aussi bien noyer sa dans le coca cola et servir sa dans un happy hour
