United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

This rum is too spiced and pretencious for what it has to offer. Not bad, not good. Just a regular experience.
Well its better than captain Morgan spiced rum not the best but ok
Hard to write something about this rum, i generally like bacardi brand, in our country possible to get very cheap, combined with huge portion of lime and cola Is tasty
Denna är nog förmodligen godare med cola än captain Morgan. Riktigt god med vanilj men även något mer, nej detta är nog min favorit rom och cola!
I like sweet rums but this is way too sweet for me, rather user Sailor Jerry for my spiced rum and cola.
Un spìced que demuestra que no es el fuerte de Bacardi
No sorprende ni llama la atención.
Not a fan of spiced rum but keep trying in the hopes I'll find something.
I might have one glass but that's it! I don't really like the added spice/flavour, it's kind of oke for one glass but after that the taste just turns bad..
It has decent balance of spices and light oak flavour and not as sweet as some spiced rums like captain morgan spiced gold. But still quite a lot of added sugar as most generic spiced rums have.
You could sip this , even though it isnt anything special. You taste the spices and sugar, has light amount of charred oak in the taste which is good. Sugary smoothness.
Good mixer for cuba libres, excellent in hot cocktails.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Sus especias lo hacen un ron edulcorado pero no malo. Un Cuba libre fácil de tomar.
