United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

I was surprised how easy this is to sip straight. It is very sweet, not too spicey and at 35% it is very easily sipped. If you are looking for a quality aged rum, this is not for you. Mixed with coke, it is sweet with a vanilla taste. Very different than Captain Morgan which is spicey and not for sipping.
Too much spices, too much caramel, too much money per bottle. It is okay to put in a rum bowl or something like that.
I tasted it straight, was not what i expected, I understand it could be a good one with Cola.
I don't drink Cola or any kind, so didn't try that.
Goode in a coke. Like it a lot. I mostly drink my rum with a coke.
When I first tried this I loved it but as my appreciation of rum has grown its obvious its a bit chemically compared to many others
Excelente bebida para economizar, combinar y disfrutar en compañía de amigos.
I have to agree with the bottle label that this bottle does in fact contain an oak flavour. The drink is smooth but not as complex as I hoped for (Expected for commercially produced rums like Bacardi). On initial sip the rum is quite smooth and you get an immediate hit of oak, with a complex mix of artificial flavouring such as cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla (slight) and maple. I experienced no honey flavouring during my tastings. Overall it's not a bad rum, its not good either but its not bad. I would bring a bottle of this to a cook out where I didn't want to waste my good stuff. 5/10
Meh, it's average. You can get better for the money. If it's on offer in the supermarket then go nuts. Inoffensive spiced rum.
Rum který lze nalézt všude a cenově odpovídá kvalite.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Nice rum, enjoyed it with coke. Didnt like it with any other mixes.
