Papas Pilar Dark 24-Year

I really liked this Rum. I was in a cigar bar and the first rum they gave me (with one big rock) was almost a flat ice tea. Then they gave me this one. Bam! My bad mood was turned right around! If you like that Caramel / Molasses / vanilla hints in a Rum this one has it. Very smooth! It is not my top favorite rum, but it is up there!

vanilla is the first thing that hits you. Was more one dimensional then I thought it would be. Still pretty good though. visited this again, don't like it as much as I thought.

This is a great rum that has a super deep flavor. It's maybe 15% sweeter than my liking, but not so much that I would turn it down. There's lots of fruit, toffee, and banana flavors that my taste pallet detects and it's a good dessert rum. It's almost perfect if I never tried Frigate Reserve!

One of the drinkable rums I've ever tasted... if the age 24 doesnt lie, suprisingly soft ane tasty for every ocassion

Aroma - Milk chocolate followed by chocolate chip cookie dough

Taste - Cheap chocolate chip cookies followed by slight barrel spice

This rum is a definite no go for me. It reminds me of a cheaper version of the Koloa Dark rum from Hawaii. I got the same chocolate chip cookie dough flavor in that rum but it was more natural and tasted much better. This is a rum that I would only recommend to people who say they don't like rum, as the sweetness will probably suit their palate. This is a definite pass for real rum enthusiasts.

Duft: Chokolade, vanilje, honninghjerte. Score: 3
Smag: Chokolade, karamel, god balance imellem sødme & alkohol. Score: 4

Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit and barrel. Flavors are similar with hints of chocolate.

when i introduce anyone to my cabinet, this is a sure winner. Sure it's sweet, but it's easy drinking
