Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

This rum is great for mixing. Not a sipping rum in my opinion.
Much too sweet and vanilla like for what I would class as an enjoyable spiced rum. Throw it in coke and it's not horrible but it's far from good.
Typical spiced rhum, not too bad but not good either. Feel that most of these are too much flavored, a little less would do.
Quality rum, great taste. Nice bottle. Would buy again when is on offer
It’s like someone decided to make a rum that other people would say “whoa” too. It’s not bad, but it also can’t stand alone. It’s about as subtle as an open handed slap to the face. It’s potable but not a whole lot more to me.
I have it away to someone else after I tried it. Better than sailor jerry but it’s still a spiced rum yuck.
I found this quite an easy drinker and for the price point you can't go wrong!
Moins de 30€ en grande surface. C’est épicé, sucré, vanillé mais j’adore !
