Best enjoyed within a mixer with coke, in my opinion.

A sweet rum- better suited for drinks than sipping. Tastes like flat dr pepper...but strong.

Overall this rum is very nice, a black spice rum, perfect to use as mixer.

Le nez c'est la mélasse qui prend le dessus suivi du clou de girofle ,canelle , gingembre
En bouche sa goûte l'alcool et par la suite la sucré brun ,cacao , clous de girofle belle final qui rappelle le gingembre
La robe est noir comme les profondeurs des abysses très sirupeuse presque visqueuse
C'est un excellent mixer son côté brut sa marie bien avec des cocktails sucré,cola

This is a good rum mixed with cola. It is dark, articulacy so, and has some good spices adding a distinctive flavor. Definitely a step up from Capt Morgan Spiced Rum.

At first I didn’t want to try it due to the name and bottle packaging, I thought it was a cheap rum. Well I’m glad I eventually purchased it, it’s fairly good. Give it a try. Release the Kracken!

3/22- I am downgrading this to 5.5. When sipping it is too harsh, little mouthfeel, and really bitter on the length. Still, it is great with a cola.

This rum is everywhere and good in a pinch when you can’t get another black rum

Just an ok rum to mix. Nothing really special, but not bad either.

one of the darkest rums, which may deflect some people. But really good one for slow sipping. I was afraid it will be too sweet, but somehow it fits. Try to have it as the last one - as a dessert ;)

Nice run with a mixer, but your paying more for the fancy bottle and their advertising costs. There are better rums out there for a cheaper price. That being said, if I get a bottle in a birthday box it doesn't last long.
