Kraken Black Spiced

I liked it as mixer with coke and bottle is cool. Tried it neat lately and it's better than expected. Taste like almonds hard candy.

Sorry folks, this "rum" is not for me. It has a pungent, almost acrid smell and aftertaste. Probably not to be taken neat, maybe better with coke - I haven't tried, as I like my rums neat or with a little ice. I'll save this one for a guest who might like it.

Nice color and packaging. Good for mixing but like drinking rum flavored acetone neat.

Aroma and the taste is there. For a commercial rum, the price performance is astonishing!!!

6:On the nose, this is indeed a spiced rum. Spices and licorice are present, but vanilla is even more so. There's also a hint of cherry.
6,4:Sweet on the palate. The ever-present spices (clove) are joined this time by orange. Vanilla is also present.
6:The finish is long on spices and vanilla.

It is one of the better spicy rums. It is very delicate, coffee-like, with a slightly chocolatey aftertaste.

I dont understand why people enjoy this so much. How is it even rated a 6?

Got this as a gift and regifted to someone else. Too much vanilla and not many other redeeming qualities to note. I admit I am not much for spiced rums but have had some decent ones. This isn’t worth having in my collection of 100+ bottles…

It's great, always drink with one Ice cube at least and enjoy
Now all that is left is to get the white rum and this one's bottle to update my IRL cabinet...

Awesome mixed with diet dr.pepper. the flavor works well with this.
