Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Er ikke super god at drikke ren, når der findes andre og bedre produkter på markedet. Men de kraftige krydderier gør den velegnet til en Dark'n'Stormy. Den er i skarp konkurrence med Captain Morgan Black Spiced, men er lidt bagud på point.
Good cocktail’s rum. That is what i do with this rum
Drinking this one straight didn't do it for me. But I really liked it mixed with ice, lime and cola.
Used to like it for quite a while, after getting more into rum world, it has become too heavy and sugary to enjoy.
Nice black spiced rum. Better than captain morgan spiced black.
Not a sipper - too sweet, too intense
Good as a mixer in a rum and coke or rum and OJ, although I prefer more bite/burn.
Nice with sweet starters like honey roasted peanuts. Not really bad but the taste is really changed by sugar.

Dangerously good! You will drink a good portion of the bottle before you know it! 47% alcohol but you down feel it coming... until the next morning ;)
