If Gran Reserva didn’t exist maybe I would rate it higher. I had high expectations only to be a one and done. Stick to the Gran Reserva at 2/3rds the price.

N: light banana, sweeter, mild alcohol, solid if a bit artificial... T/F: banana upfront, very mild, mid-sweet, nice. But not complex at all. This is a solid mixer in dark mojitos and rum punches that need a bit more sweetness...

Oproti Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva má výraznejšiu alkoholovú chuť a zdá sa mi aj tmavšiu farbu. Prekvapilo ma že chuťovo je na podobnej úrovni. Oplatí sa kúpiť za menej peňazí ako Reserva Exclusiva.

Bon rhum, des nuances dans le goût, mais des notes difficiles à identifier, et vraiment très fondues les unes dans les autres.

Very nice rum to use in cocktails, especially mixed with coke and ice!

Rhum assez doux sur les épices. Bien équilibré et pas trop sucré. Très bon RQP

Diplomatico Mantuano got a very sweet tone. Nice but little too sweet for me. A nice smell and a good taste.

This rum has a specific application for me - drinking with others. Vague notes of baking spices, brown sugar, and VERY distant baked banana make for a pleasant, albeit uninspiring sipper. It's a nice rum to casually experience, but doesn't do much else. Especially if you're finding a place for it in a cocktail.

Dieser Rum ist wässrig und nicht so geschmackvoll. Er versucht die Note von seinem großen Bruder, dem Reserva Exclusiva, anzunehmen. Auch er süß aber nicht so weich und blumig wie der Reserva
