Smell very neutral, the taste is a direct vanilla but not over sweetened. It bites the nose and the throat. It’s. Simple rum - likable but not something that my tongue will remember for long after. From 24 rums selection with S.

Lite romerska bΓ₯gar.

First burn is a bit too strong and covers what comes after. Excellent balance with tones of dark chocolate.

blown away by the nose on this rum. Smells like a chocolate bar you should be unwrapping - smells of chocolate, vanilla, caramel and coffee. Taste doesn't live up to the nose but still a potential sipper with a few rough notes around the edges that linger.

A lot of vanilla and chocolate in the smell and taste. Otherwise nothing special. Nice to drink but easy to forget.

This Salvadoran rum was a unexpectedly good. This rum matures in its final phase in casks where roasted coffee beans have been stored. You can recognize it in bouquet. Taste is surprisingly gentle like much older rums. For some 20 eur, i can recommend it.

Smerls like butterscotch and delivers that flavour with some excess vanilla. I live the terrior but perhaps this rum is a bit sweet but the delicate lingering cedar finishes well. Worth a try and will make me try more Salvadorian rums.
