Love this rum. Buy some now and stock up the price keeps rising. Still a very good value. A great sipper neat or a couple of rocks. Thick caramel, bananas foster, brown sugar and a stick of cinnamon with a smooth finish.
Smooth and easy to drink. Not too sweet and good aftertaste.
Ce rhum (Ron) est bon pour ceux qui veulent se mettre à boire du rhum seul. Avec le temps et en dégustant d'autres produits on remarque qu'il est très sucré et est loin des vrais bon rhum !
every first timer to rum should try this. Easy to drink .
It's an easy and pleasing rum for beginners. Nice notes of chocolate and coffee. It is a nice desert rum, very sweet.
I really like a sweeter booze flavor profile (sherry cask = yummy) but something about this bottle tastes artificial to me. It's good but by no means great among much better peers under $40. I much prefer anything from El Dorado, Plantation, Appleton to Diplomatico.
It's as good as I remember. I'll definitely keep some on hand for company who aren't regular rum drinkers since it's nice to sip and sweet enough for most people to enjoy.
Color: Copper
Nose: Caramel, Cinnamon, faint orange
Taste: I get brown sugar and caramel, a little walnut too
One of my favourites! Sip on the rocks with a nice cigar and you can’t go wrong!
good balance in taste and smell.
Smells better than other rum
Comparable with Millonario Reserva 15
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
