Sweet and rich. Maybe a little too sweet for me. Great dark rum for cocktails. People tend to use stuff they wouldn’t normally drink by itself for cocktails; why!? Better ingredients in anything make the final product better- good rum = better cocktail.
An all time favorite of mine. I have let numerous ladies try this rum and they all love it. I have never heard one negative comment. The ladues love the Dip. And I enjoy it with them. One of the first rums I ever had and am still enjoying to this day. A must try.
Decently priced. A more rounded upgrade of the Mantuano. Decent Sipper.
Tried it for the first time on the rocks, first sip was rather strong but as it went on, it bacame very nice. Extremely smooth, you can taste the alcohol but it doesn't burn. Has to be in the top 3 rums I ever drank
Almost the best rum i've tasted. Smooth tast of vanilla.
Tastes just like how good rum is described, not overly sweet or smokey like some of the bourbon barrel aged stuff. A strong rum and coke made with this on the rocks makes for a great relaxing drink after a long day.
A very, very sweet aroma. I now know exactly what everyone is talking about. It is quite tasty! I am fan of it and I am beyond well aware of it's sugar added (est 41 g/l) but despite that I still went out and bought it to see what all the hype is about. It is a little unbalanced, but perhaps not in a bad way and while it is tasty and feels literally like a dessert drink I can only sip this so many times a day before having to put it away. I personally wouldn't buy it again but it is tasty and I think recommendable to most and to beginners.
Suficiente para quedar bien con la visita de buenos amigos.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

I love this rum! On nose I get sweet caramel, brown sugar and red dried fruits. On palate i get caramel ice cream and chocolate, sweet but not too much, with bit of bitternes of the oak and spices in the end. Long lasting taste that I really enjoy. It is great sipping rum, neat or on ice... I like it neat, but I could drink it on ice on warm sunny days... Smooth , rich and long lasting taste with everything you want rum to be.
