Not a fan of rums that are too sweet. This one is more on the dry side; vanilla and toffee. Straight or with a splash of Coke. And for $32 (cash price), can’t go wrong.
En god prisvärd rom.
Tycker smaken påminner något om romerskabågar. Fin färg
Nose - a sweet mix of chocolate, caramel, vanilla, oak
Taste - very sweet mix of molasses, chocolate, and vanilla with some nuttiness
Finish - medium, sweet molasses
This is a real allrounder in the rum family.
Sweet but not to sweet. I think most people would like this, and a bottle everyone should have at home.
This is a really good rum goes down smooth not to sweet. I have had it with water, coconut water, neat and on the rocks. For me best was neat you smell all the aromas and when you taste it just delicious. With a few drops of water it's just changes everything loved it try it you'll like it
It's my choice when I'm for some sweet, but not too sweet taste, price performance 👍
Overall very smooth and I don’t think you can go wrong with this. Where I live it is probably the easiest of the sipping runs to find in store and I always keep a bottle in stock. It is sweet from start to finish with basically no burn. For someone who has never had run before this is what I recommend. Dark colored, smooth, sweet with hints of banana, sweet after taste.
Pretty good, definitely could drink it straight, but it’s a little too sweet in my opinion
I always pick up a bottle when I find one. Smooth and rich. Cheers.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I bought a 50ml sample and I tried it straight. You can taste so many flavors in there that you can get confused. I liked it but I think I will not buy a full bottle of this.
