A staple in my cabinet. Smooth and easy drinking. A touch sweet, so usually an after dinner sipper for me.
Nice dark color, a little bit too sweet for me and almost syrupy. The alcohol isn't that present at first but after a second or two in the mouth it is. Not too sharp, though
After taste is short.
If you no longer know what you would drink, diplomatico is the rum certainty that you will not make a mistake when you drink it or as a gift.
Great fragrance and flavor balance with a Full body, delivers a smooth flavor profile progressively.
Flavor was good, but it was harsh. Really wanted to lime this one, but didn't think it was good at all.
One to be drunk and savoured. Nit a mix it with coke and have a session with.
Really nice bottle of rum! And the price...nice! A standard addition to anyone’s liquor cabinet.
This rhum is one of my favorite with a good tante of vanilla and caramel.
It’s also nice that this rhum is proposée on many bars and restaurants.
"The palate evokes chocolate sauce and the sweet toffee, fudge and tropical fruit flavours from the nose"
"The nose is dominated by notes of caramel, toffee and crème. On the back end of the aromas, I can detect a hint of smoke and pineapple"

Smells sweet. It is fruity, oranges, grapes and raisins with scents of chocolate and a sweet almost syrupy.
"The tasting notes on the site are very accurate vanilla, fudge/toffee sauce are noticeable as are notes of vanilla and a finish which is slightly bitter like cocoa which leaves a hit of oakiness on the taste buds. The finish is pretty short. ."

Nice, smooth, sweet and delightful. Perfect sipping rum, to tasty to mix with Cola, but a great one in complex cocktails.
