Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

A truly soul bereft product. Barely a rum and definitely not worth the time. Like adding honey and vodka to a coke - you're better off drinking the coke "neat" in my humble opinion.
I was surprised by the beautiful taste of this rum after Bundy spice
Recommend this for its beautiful spice flavour
It's a entry level rum, too young, good for mixes.
The rum is decently priced, nothing about it really stands out. I could probably substitute it with other average tasting spiced rums and not tell a difference. It is good with a cola type drink. My ideal version of drinking this rum would be for someone with a budget and would like a fair tasting rum.
I find it too sweet, especially if mixing with coke. Became boring very quickly.. For the similar price I prefer Sailor Jerry's Spiced to this one
Nothing beats the original spiced rum.
Beautiful color and taste staight up or mixed with your favorite cola.
It is a rum that actually tastes good straight. It also mixes well but i prefer white rum for mixing.
After one of these even the slightest wiff of it can give you the heave. Probably a decent entry drink into rumsville!
Simply put: not offensive, but not fantastic. When out drinking I'll usually ask for Captain, as I know if I don't I'll end up with Bacardi or a worse off-brand rail rum. It's also nice for parties, as it's cheap and people associate it with quality. You don't want other people drinking your actual quality rum.
The perfect wingman for coke

After introducing myself into world of quality rums, I can not stand this taste anymore. Maybe if this is mixed in some drink ok but... I'd rather have a beer. Unfortunately, I know "rums" that are bigger tragedy.
