Captain Morgan Spiced rum

Captain Morgan Spiced

Puerto Rico | Spiced

Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.

Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

Spiced rum isn't my idea of a good alcoholic drinks. You might as well drink Olsen Spice aftershave.

Once you're teenager with taste for better alcohol and no sense of taste in rums, this is nice boozer. Once you get older, you'll change your mind. With few exceptions, Morgan stand three steps below basic Havana (and one below basic BacardΓ), but pricing is one step, so I have no reason to go for it. Nice and not expensive for beginners, but if you'll miss the Morgan's basics, you won't regret. Binge drinking day are gone for me and no one likes heartburns.

The gateway to rum drinking before you discover the endless other possibilities out there. Nothing special and only to be used as a mixer. Too harsh with little flavours for sipping but does the job with a coke mixer

Terrible synthetic-like taste that gave me goose bumps. So far the lowest rating I gave. There are so many better spices at the same price range yet they are not that well-known, and not that easy to buy. I would compare this to Tullamore Dew - the worst rated Irish whisky yet most bottles sold.

this rum while smells good, has a bitter taste to it. almost like a burnt taste.

The taste was not rum but a nasty hard whiskey with a burning flavor
