Captain Morgan Spiced Rum is made by combining yeasts, molasses, water and mash, which are then distilled in a continuous still. The rum is aged for up to 1 year followed by the addition of spices and flavors indigenous to the Caribbean Islands.
Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

This swill is not good at all, aged one year and it shows.
Always there when you need him, the Captain is consistent.
Much like Red Leg, quite a nice drink when you're bloated from pints and moving on to shorts.
More I review of these cheaper rums more I look forward to leaving them behind as I move on to the real ones.
Captain Morgan spiced rum was my first love of rum and will always have a special place in my heart, that being said after drinking more and more rum the original spice just doesn't holed up that well anymore. A good start to rum but very average rum, not a lot of flavor to it.

This is my go to value rum. Not expensive and mixes well.
Great spiced rum for the holidays. Egg noggers as far as the eye can see. I treat myself to forty pounder every Christmas. HO HO HO
Definitely one for mixing, great with coke or suchlike. Probably my favourite choice of 'cheap' spiced rum.
Klart at foretrække frem for bacardi, hvis man skal have en god brændert.

Good for mixing. Has a strong molasses and spice flavor. I like it in a mix but not to much by itself.
