Captain Morgan Spiced is owned by Diageo and produced in Puerto Rico by the famous Destilieria Serralles, Inc. The company Captain Morgan is named after the 17th-century Welsh privateer of the Caribbean, Sir Henry Morgan was an admiral in the Royal British Navy who earned a knighthood in 1674.

My old go-to bar night rum; doubles with a good squeeze of fresh lime and cola. You know what you're getting.
I dont get how popular this rum is, when its direct competitors (jerry, havana, bacardi, flor de cana) beats its ass.

Many different bottles later This one is a great choice, though not overly complicated or sophisticated,
it is still a great one.
Obviously, like with everything, it isn't cool to like one of the big names. However, for me, this comes in second to Red Leg at the moment. So smooth, so easy to drink but lacks the Vanilla flavour and super smoothness of Red Leg
This is a nice rum enjoyed during a poker game with friends. Easy to drink and particularly nice as a press with lots of ice. An enjoyable rum at a great price point.
The Ubiquitous Captain Morgan. Hard to find a bar that doesn't sell it, but then, why not? It's a very good drink mixed with Coke and a great warming nip to have neat when it's cold outside

I wouldnt recommend to drink it straight but its a great mixer.
