You get what you pay for in this rum, cheap to buy but not great to drink
I'll be honest, I'm not even entirely sure which Bundaberg I tried... But while in Australia I picked up a bottle and it was... not so good. Not terrible, but even mixed it wasn't that enjoyable.
Before I liked rum I visited the distillery when I was travelling - I often wonder if it would have tasted better over there. Every Aussie I've met raves about the stuff but it isn't for me; very unique taste unlike any other rum I've tried.
Being form Oz, I wanted to try our local rum.
Not very tasty even as a mixer, maybe I've gotten too used to the spied rums form the Caribbean area.
Won't be buying this ever again
Even as an Aussie, I tend to steer clear of "Bundy".
This is foul and not relevant as a rum hideous and does not deserve a rating ...
Good for your bug out bag could use for starting fires etc.
Your average little doesnt get drunk rum full of kerosine so add coke to get it down
The smell and taste, I had to ask the barman if he mistakenly given me disinfectant...truly awful.

Really just don't. It is the national spirit but even that won't be enough to get you to enjoy this. I don't know why anyone would think an underproof rum was a good idea. Well actually I guess it means you can get more bottles from the same amount of rum because it's spread out a bit more. "Aged" in 20,000 litre stainless steel vats and it tastes like it. Only way to drink this is as a Black Rat (bundy and coke).
