Its a good rum then it is warm but then its cold its it taste like bad whiskey and smells like it to but warm it up and its fine but only warm!! 👍🏻
Will drink this any day of the week no worries great with lots of ice and some Coke, harsh as all Buggery straight
Look use this to start the car or if you are already smashed and feel like a wake up call this Draino will really open up the sluices. Harsh drink with no complexity, smash your face into a wall before drinking and use for medicinal purposes only.
Right, don't go to Australia for the rum. I honestly can't figure out why all aussies drink this, its awfull. Luckily the stores do sell some rums that do taste nice!
But, fair enough, it is the cheapest rum around and you can mix it with cola to make a supersweet mix if you want lemonade wih alcohol :')
Being an iconic Aussie drink you gotta wander why they chose a polar bear as there symbol, despite their name. Can't remember the last time they where running around Oz.
Did enjoy this rum as a mixer though, had a different taste to any other rum I've tried before, which I liked, and would take this before rums such as appleton's vx etc. Main problems are, it's rather hard to find in NZ & it costs way to much at $60-70 for a litre bottle. It's no where close to being that good. Knock it down to $40 & you'd have a fair rum at a fair price
Maybe Australia developed different tastes before the era off globalisation. No disrespect to Aussies or to the Czech scientist who modernised Bundy production in the 1950s but by international standards this is a rough product with a harsh aftertaste. The distillery in bundaberg is worth a visit but I think production has been moved south....
