Light amber color. Soft and tasty nose, flowers, resin. Pretty plain. But taste is much better, sweet and pretty simple.

At first struck me as too sweet and mellow, but it has a bit of character lurking underneath the honey and vanilla. It's an easy sipper, and not too shabby at that.

For the price of 34 USD at Total Wine and More, this is a good deal. It really reminded me of the Plantation 20 Anniversary XO, a bit on the sweet side, a little less body in comparison, but solid on aroma and palate. Toasted coconut up front, with a hint of congnac (and a hint of banana??). The body is light but smooth. I really enjoy this one.

Smooth slightly sweet, nice sipper. Great for the price but no where close to a higher priced rum. There is a good cognac barrel finish to if with hints of coconut and caramel on th frint end, a nice sniff brings a cinnamony hint of the many spices in your mouth. I give it a 7 bcause it isn't quite the sipper of a few of the higher priced, but damn tasty!

All the flavor of a far more expensive rum. This is my go to sipping rum.

The added sugar adds a counter to the harsh bite. The double wood aging really comes through with a light oaky note. Overall, not a mixing rum as it will get lost in the mix. A nice sweet light sipper with a bite.

This is well worth picking up. Get this one before the price goes up because it will.

I was completely surprised by Kaniche XO and it's become a favorite sipper that won't break the bank. High Rating (8) reflects the value (under $30). I realize that some may find the sugar a detraction, however, it's very smooth and perfect on the rocks for an enjoyable sipping sundown.

Kaniche approaches your palate in such a unique way. Its at first difficult to gauge all the flavors as what you get front to back is completely different.Sweet and fruity with a hint of a smooth oakey flavor. Price point on this one is solid as well. Impicked it up at Total Wine.
