Excellent rum from Ferrand.
Like the plantation series, the Kaniché Rum are first in the Caribbean
and then matured in France, "Double Wood".
In the nose fruity vanilla, light and aromatic.
On the palate, light wood notes and some coconut are added.
Finish pleasantly sweet.
A nice balanced rum for all days
Okay, I *DO* tend to be biased in my rum drinking. Generally speaking, I tend to favor the darker rums, but I have found exceptions here and there. Kaniche is one of these exceptions! It goes down very nicely, with little afterburn, and has a nice Oak accent (I've heard called smokey) that I truly like. This is now a staple in my Booze supply, and I am looking to test their Kaniche Reserve, as soon as I can find it...
Sweet and easy. Lemon freshness with floral notes. Some smoke and liquorice. A sticky taste.
Finaly i manage to get this rum also.
There was one bottle left in the stor, so i quickly just took it :)
This one is for collection purpose.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This would probably be great with a mixer but I sip neat. Prefer the perfeccion.
