Don Papa Small Batch Rum is produced by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company on the southern island of Negros in the Philippines. The rum is distilled from molasses, then aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels, and lastly charcoal filtered.
The name Don Papa rum was inspired by Papa Isio, a leader of the Philippine revolution against the Spanish who led his island to independence before joining the main revolutionary movement.

It is a cool rum, with a weird twist. Second glass goes in a mix, but still effective.

I’m surprised this isn’t much higher rated as it’s anther one I feel is a great staple in the cabinet. Smooth and great with a coke

El olor a caramelo inicial se transforma en un líquido que no se como describir, esto es de todo menos Ron. No he sido capaz de beber más, no entiendo cómo se considera a Don Papa un Ron cuando se parece más a un jarabe.
Simply too sweet. If you like syrup it is ok for you but if you are looking for Rhum better try something else.
A fantastic complex rum with strong notes of vanilla. I love the flavor.
I really enjoyed this one. Sweet vanilla followed by a citrus aftertaste. I could easily drink a lot of this.
Noooooo... this is chemical waste water. Very very bad!
