Beautiful banana nose, smooth but a bit too sweet on a funk caramel jamaican style rum. Good but leans too sweet slight burn at the end

I love hampden lrok the younger 5yr so was excited to taste this 11yr leok version and wasn’t disappointed, i dont like funk except jamaican funky rums like hampden. This was a smoother version but missed the explosion of flavor of its younger version

Like a less flavorful foursquare good but a little too weak for a 9. Sweet but good balance of standard caramel flavired rum. Finish has a little too much burn for being this old

Tobacco on the nose, leather taste with a quick peppery bourbon burn on the finish. Like a burnt el dorado with a bitter ending and overproof abv. Much smoother than i’d expect a 65%abv to be

Z kraja v arome jemne nakysly, nic moc sa tam neodohrava, nejaka sudovost, nejaka vanilka a tak.
Chut zacina velmi podobne, nasledne zacne vystupovay sud, korenie (mozno nejaky citrus) a dost alkoholoveho palenia.
Na chvoste najviac prenika palenie a klasicke sudy.

This is a great bottling from Velier to an affordable price.
The nose is fruity with aromas of esters, pineapple, banana and citrus.
At the palate it’s fruity, funky and spicy with flavors of esters and pineapple.
The finish is long, fruity, spicy, fresh, dry and woody.

Too strong even though i like overproofs its like a spoiled fruit version of el dorado but in a bad way. Burn is overpowering and overshadows the rum flavor
