For some reason, this rum has always just reaslnated with me. A faint hint of smoke, and toffee finish. It is strong and does have a slight burn but is still smooth. Goes great with smoked red meat. I recommend or sip when I have a roast in the smoker. And I like the rectangular bottle. That is unique for display.

Mir war der zu fasslastig. Wem sowas taugt der is hier richtig. Ich steh eher auf süße Rums wie A.H.Riise oder Pantation. Is kein schlechter Rum, einfach nur nicht mein Geschmack.

pleasant sweet aroma - icing, honey, cinnamon, exotic wood. In the mouth there are clear notes of sherry, wine mold and still a lot of honey. Light finish - water with honey, rose water, a delicate root note, slightly tobacco.

Burnt sugar with a fruity hint in aroma. Spirit harshness is present, but low. Taste - again burnt sugar, not too sweet, with some spirit bite. Aftertaste is short and pleasant. A good solid rum.

Appereance is amazing. Bottle design is very good.
This rum is made not from melasses, but sugarcane juice. Other things are same for spanish style.
Nose - intensive and pretty complex, no spirit. Rich vanilla, dried fruits, caramel.

Palate: very sweet and veeeery smooth: sugarcane, rich vanilla, dried fruits and bowed carrot which is dissonant here.
Not bad for the rum made in column. It has own character.

I found that empty glass smells very good with sugarcane and vanilla.
Very easy to drink and the morning is clear.

After being opened ~1 month it becomes better and not too overly sweet.

A nice rum for casual drinks with friends. Perfect to drink with soda.

Worthy to try. Not too sweet, caramel flavours and bit of vanilla. Easy to drink and to enjoy.

Not complex but straightforward toffee flavor and some heat. Not bad and not great.
