Good but not one of my favorites. Smooth taste, I prefer the sweeter ones

Had this one while on vacation in Mallorca. It has a bit of everything: a promising nose, and the taste itself brings quite a bit sweetness and a bit of oak. Perhaps better with a bit of ice, but suitable for neat as well.

.This was one of the first sipping rums I ever tried while on our trip to the DR. It is a good rum but definitely not one to start your rum journey with. This rum is dry but has good sweet notes.

Nice cheaper version of Diplomatico reserva exclusive.

Nice rum to please most people, nicely priced. To enjoy in the evening after a nice meal.

Očakávania pri rume za 21-22EUR nemal veľké. Nerozumiem popisom na webe,že ide o mimoriadne jemný rum. Mne príde toto Barcelo skôr suchšie,tvrdšie a fakt rumove,cítiť alkohol,mierne drevite tóny. Kto má rád rumy,ktoré sa na nič nehrajú a nemajú špecifické ovocné tóny - bude spokojný. Ja som ho porovnával s Pamperom Aniversariom a to mi chutilo viac.

Received this as a gift a while back, tried it and definitely enjoyed it, been busy with other rums, mixing etc, so I try a lot of Jamaican and Demeraras. Upon second try, I find it even better. Nose is pleasing, sweet, plum-raisins, taste is complex, sweet for sure, but has notes of tobacco, citrus and burnt rubber. I recommend this for those who enjoy El Dorado 12 or Diplomatico.

I really like that bottle style but not like that taste. I cant find the right word for that feelling i had. Might “one Night girl”?

Ron de gamma media, buena calidad precio (30 dolares promedio), 10 anos para un Barcelo aromatico, ligero y con buena textura. Recomendabl.
