The first thing that I taste on this 3 year old agricole is pepper. Spend the extra $5 US and get their Reserva, or an extra $10 US to get their XO. I won't be buying this one again. There is simply too much competition in this price range. So much for less aging making better agricoles. Not in this case.
This one is also exclusively a mixer, as on the rocks or neat is out of the question. It goes best in premium coffee or one's favorite cola. However, for a few dollars less, there are other mixers that are even better.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Had a tasting at local store. This is the youngest and least interesting of the 3. Starts with some burn. Very thin with poor mouthfeel. Not complex. Some vanilla notes. Pretty sweet. Short finish. Really a tropical Dominican rum. Translation; BORING. Might make a good mixer. Not a sipper
