Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

It is super smooth taste. Body taste is amazing and very soft and smooth alcohol.

The best rum of the world, So excited, Is a personal collection from Madrid, Spain.
the bottle of Zacapa XOl old version y very rare and exclusive rum
Smooth, sweet nose, caramel, elegant, top 3 all time Rum!
I tried this one head to head with centenario 20,25,30. Flor de cana 18,25 and diplomatico 2002, exlusiva viscayu 21, plantation 20th and a few others. What a night!
Anyways. You can't go wrong with any of the above rums, but this one ended up being my third favorite
Had a glass of this, in a bar. Sometimes these get heavy in alcoholic taste when they are open for too long. Really nice smell and color but for Zacapa XO as well as Sistema Solera 23 I think sharp alcohol taste directly dominates everything, not giving space for any other of the nice aroma. Not at all my favorite!
this is such a dream of Rum! you need to try this freaking good stuff!!
Smooth taste, great color. A must if you drink rum just with ice or simple.
Ultimate rum. Better than any cognac or brandy. This is an excellent option of class.

It is rich with coffee notes and a little tobacco.

Surprisingly smooth and sweet on the nose, even comparing to Zacapa 23. Taste again is quite on par with the 23, not that spectacular.
