Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

this is classic zacapa taste even more smooth , very comfortable drinking with smell of fruit
This is another very good sipping rum. I purchased two in a shop while in New Orleans at a steal price. Gave one as a gift and kept the other. As from my previous reviews, I am a fan of rum with my cigars. This makes a nice pairing with a Ligero
Mycket trevlig rum. Har nya flaskan................
Fantastisk smag skal dog iltes lidt i et rigtig ROM glas kan have en let sprit smag
A very well blended rum. A credit to who ever created it. Not much can touch this at its price. It's very well balanced, it smells great and it delivers a complex and rewarding experience for the palate that lingers for some time. I've payed twice as much for rum half as good. Do yourself a favour.
Its a very nice high-end rum with a quite accaptable price to it. You can't go wrong with this one. I think Rumratings should change the picture for this rum to the new edition like the one i got.
It is worth the price I paid. I would happily buy another bottle for sharing on special occasions.
This was the rum that go me interested in sipping. And it is the benchmark by which I have measured all the other rums I've tried.
It's true nectar in a bottle. Sweet, smooth and aromatic. I'd never like to be without, little can compare for that special something...

Undoubtedly a great rum, my only distaste is; so do the rest of the world. Though all rum drinkers should try this little treat at least once.
Master Blender Lorena Vasquez has done a superb job with all their rums and especially with the XO.
I also like the pacakaging. It appears they have given Mount Gay a run for their money as they too have changed their presentation, more akin to the pricing.
