Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

Dette er rom i høy klasse. Tar gjerne et glass etter middag. Litt søt, men ikke for mye. Prismessig verdt hver krone
If you can get it for under 95 bucks, go for it, otherways there are better ones at the same price like facundo eximo or exquisito.
Smooth and sweet, with some vanilla hints, i like to open it with a big ice cube.
Bought a bottle of this for a little over £70 whilst on holiday in Tenerife. Beautifully balanced, sweet, very slight smoke, vanilla, and a super smooth finish.
Buena presentación, buen sabor, buen aroma, buena textura, buen color, precio no tan bueno.
...a party that has got out of hand and someone let off fireworks indoors.
Aroma and tastes are beautiful but there's too much heat in there. So close to being great.
What can I say, this is a very smooth and wonderfully colored rum with a great bottle and case, kind of regal. My problem with this rum, now that my pallet has matured, it kind of leaves me wanting more. It has a nice aroma, great color and goes down smooth, that’s for sure, but to me, it lacks character and finishes quickly. I like a small bite or at least some distinguishing feature to my bottle, something that sticks out and screams at me, or at least raises its voice. The Big Mac if rums, a lot have been sold and eaten, but not the best burger that we can get.

It is rich with coffee notes and a little tobacco.

Lovely rum, I love the scent and the sweet taste, so smooth.
I'll definitely have this one on my shelve.
