Ron Zacapa XO Rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala where it is distillled from fresh cane juice. The rum is then aged from 6 to 23 years at 7544 feet above sea level at 62 °F (17 °C) using the solera process. The solera aging process incorporates barrels that previously held American whiskeys, sherries, wines and Cognac
The unique Ron Zacapa XO glass decantur features an impression of a woven band around the middle, which is in reference to the original hand woven palm leaf petate bottle cover that covered the bottle

I love this rum! Of the rums i’ve had this and the Abuelo Centenario are my favorites and the price point of this makes it a better value. So smooth, no bite nice presentation too.
Good rhum but I could say that it's slightly overpriced. At least here in northern Europe. I did find this XO in Tallin Estonia.
If You like Ron Zacapa 23 this is a next pick! But I think that You might say the dance at the price tag.
Picked this up at Aruba duty free airport. Best i ever had, also got negro there but didn't try yet. Totally smooth wonderful in every way. Think I paid about $70 for the 750 and absolutely worth it. Don't think I can get it locally sad when gone
One of the most famous XO choice. Very smooth in every way.
Must have in your bar.
A good Zacapa. I was at Diageo's bar in Hungary and there was a presentation about the solera system and the ageing of this product. It was a bit foggy how this think is made and since I found out a lot of lies about the spirit industry I'm not believing anything what doesn't happen infront of my eye... :) But this rum happens to be quite good. A smooth and really balanced rum. Outstanding flavor profiles and long and friendly aftertaste... 8/10 *would recommend
The presentation of this rum is excellent. The color is very deep red and brown, smell is subtle and enticing. Great initial flavor, exceptionally smooth with a hint of spice for a finish. Worth every bit of the price.
Pas un rhum hyper aromatique mais très doux et sur un très bon équilibre entre le caramel et des notes grillées. Parfait en toute occasion.
This is by far one of the smoothest runs I've had. The family loved it. It has a hint of burnt sugar in it. I can't say it's the best yet, but pretty high up there.
A little more spicey than Pilar and not as smooth a finish as El Dorado 15. I really enjoy this one. A little bite in the beginning but a very nice finish. Well balanced — not too sweet or harsh.

It is rich with coffee notes and a little tobacco.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
