United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

Fairly strong and full bodied, not one were you drink the whole bottle either lol
It's fine, but captain makes barreled rums that are better, and it just feels like it falls short again.
Could be drank on the rocks but intended with coke I think
Cheap party rum, available every store. Must mix with lime, too sweet.
I have tasted a lot of spiced rums and there are much better alternatives. Bacardi, for the most part, is an over hyped brand.
This is a light and easy drinking rum. Enjoyable with cola.
Not bad for a Bacardi. Try it with Cherry Coke for a sure-fire party hit.
Not really a Bicardi fan. Oakheart is a settle for rum. Because that is all some bars have
To be frank, it's quite good with coke and a splash of lime. I taste alcohol more than I taste spices when drinking it straight, so it's a no-no for me.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. Itβs a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasty spiced rum, simple but effective. It's not a fancy rum, but for the price of about $13-15 I think this is a great choice for mixing at home.
