Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

This Rum is only good with Coke with a slice of lime..

Mild and sweet, this rum will be nice for a date with a girl...or several...:)
Certainly can be a sipper and is fair as a mixer but it's just boring. Hints of cinnamon and vanilla to be had. It slightly reminded me of Captain Morgan Private Stock but fell short even of low mark.
Very well daily rum with coke. Nice vannilla taste, no´t too srong vanilla.
This a cheap/mid range supermarket rum, one of the better for this price range. Can also sip this run straight, pretty impressed definetly buy again for price!
Tastes like a golden marshmallow when mixed with Coke. Not much depth as far as complexity of flavors, but definitely drinkable in a pinch. Easy to see why it's a standard house spiced at some bars.

A better tasting spiced. Sippable on its own in a pinch, but better when mixed for the sweetness

As the title says it, for me this is the best spiced rum of Bacardi.
