United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

tried sipping this and just got vanilla and burn with a bit of cinnamon. not really delicious. drank with coke and the flavour still comes through so I enjoyed it quite a lot.
Better than an unaged rum, but there are far better ones to pick.
Oakheart was one of the first that got me interested in rum. I think I liked it because it wasn't harsh. So I bought another bottle recently to try....very distinct vanilla and brown sugar finishes, I recommend mixing with coke and if you are having several make it coke zero because it is sweet. Keep sampling!
No character. I think it was designed for drinks. With Sprite you can tastes the cherry flavour. It makes an ok drink.
Not a bad rum but seems to be a more expensive version of Captain Morgan to me. Good with coke but not the best for sipping
Nice oakie aroma, rather smooth taste with a slight bite, best enjoyed with cola, a drop of ice and a spritz of lime juice.
Not one to sip but great with Coke. Similar to others of this type
Got this for Christmas as a gift, I find it too strong drinking it straight and smells strong, however, its only 37%. It is a standard supermarket Rum
I drank lots of this mixed with cola, it's far better than captain Morgans.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'
"Bacardi Oakheart rum review by The Ultimate Rum Shack"
Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. Itβs a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Typical not expensive rum, without some tasty smell... ladies like this one with coke. As for me...? No, it's not for me.
