United States | Spiced | 35% ABV
Launched in 2011, Bacardi Oakheart is the newest addition to the extensive Bacardi collection.
This spiced rum is aged for 1 to 2 years, filtered using a proprietary process, and then flavored with various spices including maple, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey.
Bacardi Oakheart took over two years to name and more than 2700 names were considered. The winner, Oakheart, is a reference to the charred American white oak barrels that house the rum while it ages.

Nice for the price. Drinkable alone.
You can really feel the soothing spice.
This is very accessible commercial Rum. Cheap, Cheerful and lots of it for your money! if your having a party with friends its a good bottle to have on the table amongst other generic favs. unlike its cheaper counterpart (blanc or black) its palatable. definitely not sippable in my opinion as it burns the tongue like cheap rums do.
I'm surprised how good this cheap, non-aged rum is. I use this for sipping. So smooth (whatever that means).
Its actually very good, I like the vanilla tase. Works great with some cola!
Not much going on here. Some vanilla but not very complex. Probably better suited as a mixer.
It's an OK Rum Nothing Biggie. I rather mix with coke but that's it....
Very smooth. Smells of vanilla, has a slight smokey taste to start then finishes light vanilla / caramel.
Echt een smaakmaker in je mond. Je proeft waar het vandaan komt.
'oak barrels to impart a rich and smoky taste'

Smooth but it is also very sweet.
"There's a slight burn of alcohol and the spicing is maybe just a bit too much. There is also a slightly jarring aftertaste. It’s a bit smoky and oily."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
