Pyrat XO Reserve

Very intensive and specific taste of orange. You will love it or hate it.

Dominant orange bouquet, but not a "spiced" rum. A before-meal favorite.

The year was 2010 (I think )the venue was London @ RumFest, the experience wonderful!!! Tbh sampled so many rums don't recall them alll but this one stood out.

Unfortunately for me I enjoy smooth silky rums and my mixer of choice is ginger beer.

This ticks all boxes, I find it a nice sipper and I like the vanilla tone. Stumbled across a bottle which got emptied and replaced. Six years on....i still find this a decent rum. Only ever sipped. ..never mixed.

Ein sehr angenehmer Geschmack, leicht zu trinken. Empfehlenswert.

A good tasting rum; however, the design of the bottle makes it difficult to pour with sacrificing some rum...

This one has a really strong alcohol smell and the taste was not much better. Too much of a burn which takes away from much of it's flavor.

I would recommend this fruity citrus to everybody who likes sweeter and fruity rums. Enjoy it alone or in cocktail.

Got a bottle as a gift and can't say I was crazy about it. I found it to be sweet. Now to be fair I did finish the bottle but much prefer the El Dorado 12.

Bought this on a recommendation without having tried it first. Will not be buying another bottle. The best description I can come up with is harsh

It bought this rum not knowing what it was i just liked the style of the bottle but when i first tasted it was not as bad as other people say it is but not that great to other than orange i could'nt tell you a other flavor but my uncle who tasted with me who is by the way a big scotch drinker liked it alot and even ask for second glass. Second time trying pyrat and listen to one of the user and let the rum breath and in less then 10 min the smell and taste change for the best it's a very weird change but a good one.
