Not the most unique or the deepest flavor out there, but it adds a lot to cocktails with notes of oak, vanilla, molasses, caramel, and a slightly spicy note.
A decent smooth rum with only a little heat. A great entry point
Popular rum that you can get everywhere. Little bit of a bite to it but smooth enough.
Quite nice. Try it. Tasty spirit and not too sweet.
I like this rum. Sippable and pretty good without being overly sweet or harsh on the finish. Overall a decent rum for a decent price
The palate is more interesting that the nose. I don’t really get very much of anything on the nose except some faint wood. The palate is semi-sweet, with a nice mouthfeel, spice, and a faint hit of heat on the finish. It’s not great but it’s good value as an everyday drinking rum. I think this could be used either as mix or a sipper, although there are far more interesting runs to sip.
Great flavor, great smell, sweet explosive flavors, not too sharp on alcohol. Just the rum’s color gives you good vibes already.
Give it a try, you won’t regret it!
First off, I'm lucky to find the 1.75L bottle of this for only $42.99 in a store near me. That would be like paying a little over $18 for the 750mL bottle... an absolute bargain. Always available near me, and easily the best value rum I can find. This rum has stood up to every mixer I've thrown at it - I still get the vanilla, oak, and molasses notes. Is this the highest quality stuff you can get? Definitely not. But I've been trying to find another rum to knock this down as my workhorse rum, and I can't find anything equally as interesting and low-priced.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Very good mixer, good and complex taste enough to drink it solo. Very fine rum at its price :)
