Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.
The Pampero distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernández of Venezuela in 1938. The brand is now a division of the world’s largest liquor holding company, Diageo.

A very decent sipping rum. Tasty and fairly smooth. May not be the world's best rum, but I don't you can find a better rum in this price range.
Smells like butter, vanilla. Not bad, little bit sharp, needs some time to breath.
Tasty rum. Did not expect to much but was not dissapointed. Not very complex and the flavour dissapears rather quickly but the taste is okay. Actually it is just what you can expect for this money. Normally 6.5 ,but because of the presentation, seven points out of ten.

In the nose is well balanced oak and spice. Pampero Aniversario is rather heavy than sweet. In the taste is coffe and the end is nice warm and spicy.
Nice semi dark rum not tomuch good with Coca Cola but Can be enjoid alone
Good tasting Rum with a kick! Spicy, molasses, vanilla, bite on the back end, lingering finish

This rum (ron) in leather sack, which is nice but unnecessary - the bottle with crest is beauty by itself. The colour of the rum is in coffee - mahagony - hazelnut brown pallete. Smell is sweet, caramel - chocolate, rich with little alcoholic pinch.
The taste is rather sweet, oak with mollase and nuts, but there is that bitter acid aftertaste lingering through every tasting note. Not my favourite rum, but tasty and interesting.
