Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva

Trochu podceňovaný rum velmi tmavé barvy v krásné kulaté lahvi a koženném váčku. Výrazné příjemné aroma Chuť je poměrně ostrá, ale bohatá, s malou sladkostí. Patří k levnějším rumům, ale určitě mě vždy jeho ochutnávka potěší.

Had neat with Puerto Rican food. To my taste it had no hallmarks of good rum, no sugarcane or molasses aroma, nor was it distinct in flavor. While smooth and not sweet it had nothing to reward the palate as compared to say Rhum Barbancourt or a Hamilton offering.

This is a very dark rum with a very wood forward flavor profile

New to this, bagged a bottle at local supermarket for €15.40 as a step up, hopefully, from the usual mixing rums like Captain Morgan's.
Sipped it with a little ice and lime, no complaints, seems nicely judged.
Tried with dark chocolate, better combination than wíth most ports I've come across.
So, you know how it is, I got another bottle - while I do my homework before slowly continuing on my rum journey.

This is the equivalent of good honey spare ribs. Smoke rough taste at the start, very honey soft aftertaste that sticks to the top of your mouth. Noice!

Have always loved Ron Pampero, but tend to jump around between favorites, Pussers, El Dorado, Plantation, Facundo Bacardis, Pyrat, several others. But glad I went back to Pampero. Dark nutty brown, rich full bodied and lasting depth.

Ku tomuto rumu som prišiel náhodou, vôňa vcelku fajn aj chuť no niečo mi chýba. Také nedotiahnué, celková spokojnosť s príjemnou vôňou no chuť trochu zaostáva, ... Vcelku môžem.

This rum has a strong presence of barrel spice that is eminently interesting. It also is not liquor-like at all. My one gripe is that the rum doesn't draw you in for more, as the experience is more of a challenge.
