Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva

This straight rum is smooth and works well as a sipper, or mixed. As usual, I enjoy my rum over rocks, with a splash of Coke.

I have try it neat or with an ice cube, but for me it works better neat as is more soft and more flavored. With ice is less flavor and more sharp. Also after pouring in glass let it breath for couple of minutes, brings up the sweetnes.
For 20$ this is a good rum

For its price its very good value for money with a smooth finish. A easy start-up when you want to drink it pure instead of mixing it.

Dark brown color, dense and extractive, very aromatic but not heavy, there's only a short rest of sugar, quite equilibrated and round. Good Quality/price for this one. 6.4 pts now.

Výborná alternativa k známějšímu Diplomaticu, krásná mahagonová barva, příjemně zahřeje. Velmi mi chutnal a rád uvítám další láhev doma.

It is much more typical rum, with tones of leather, oil and wood :-) it is not my cup of tea, but I can value it :)

Had this on my wishlist and finally got a bottle at Total Wine and More. Opened it on Christmas 2020!
It’s okay. Beautiful packaging. Nice aroma. Flavors are a bit muted, and there is a moderate ethanol burn that is slightly unpleasant. Overall, a decent rum.

expected a lot after the reviews and I was not disappointed. Good drinkiong rum with or without ice. And compared with all the other good drinking rums this one was not too sweet.

This rum is very smooth and also not too sweet as other smooth rums. It has really nice taste. Bit of vanilla not too much pretty equal basic but very good full rum taste. Quite neutral smell but I don't see It as anything bad. Overall great rum for the price.

Farbe dunkler Bernstein
Im Geschmack eine Süße, nicht unangenehm aber dominant, ein wenig Karamel, Vanille und Holznote mit Alhohol.
Alles in allem ein gefälliger Rum, nichts aufregendes aber auch nichts schlechtes. Auf der Süßen Seite !
