Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva

The nose suggest sweetness, butter, chocolate and oak, the taste is semi sweet and smooth, butter, toffee, some fruity notes, the finish is rich, going towards dry, nuts with hint of cocoa, oak and leather. My feelings are that the blend is made of 6 to 10 year aged rums, and there is some sugar added, but not too much (15g/l). This rum has very distinctive and pleasant taste, for me it is hard to find some other rum similar to this one.

Nose, hints of baking spices and raisin. Sipping on the rocks quickly opens up some of the fruit flavors but also dilutes the character. On second sip, neat, the rich spices, cinnamon, tabacco and vanilla are prominent, and delicious. Not an overly oaky rum, slightly sweet but not overdone. Definitely a great sipper neat. I am exploring more Venezuelan and Central American offerings lately, normally I stick with Carribean rums but this one is a solid sipper!

Incepand cu inceputul, prezentarea este de a dreptul impresionanta .. micutul te surprinde in mai toate privintele. vine intr un saculet de piele sintetica, sticla micuta borcanata ca o grenada de mana din al 2 lea razboi mondial , n ai crede ca e de 700 ml .

in miros se simte ceva tarie , se simte miros puternic de caramel sau zahar ars, cacao si vanilie.

in gust partea care mie nu imi prea place este ca se simte cam tare alcoolul, il simti pana in stomac. este un rom subtire si aluneca prea rapid poate asta este un motiv )). dar gustul nu dezamageste , aceleasi nuante din miros se simt (caramel, cacao si vanilie) plus ceva aroma de stafide si mi place ca dupa ce la inceput se simte usor dulceag , finisul este amarui si asta imi place maxim. daca ar ingloba alcoolul mai bine ar fi sublim..
acest rom imi place chiar mai mult decat diplomatico reserva exclusiva chiar daca acesta e mai fin si inglobeaza foarte bine alcoolul ( pt diplomatico recomand o combinatie cu dictator claro 1 parte diplomatico si 2 dictador + 2 3 picaturi de lamaie verde )

Not too sweet. Not too spiced. OK for sipping and mixing. Cool pouch too. Good rum for the price

It was rather dry without any really strong taste. Still it was ok, easy to drink.

This rum is very approachable. With the standard 40% alcohol level, it is not overly harsh and, at first sip, it does not lean strongly in any over-mixed or overly-flavored taste. The nose is almost like a whiskey but has that rum distinctiveness (I realize that's debatable)... This is refreshing as so many blended rums go overboard. What bumps this from a 7 to an 8 is the aftertaste which brings forth a couple different layers of flavor that create a solid rum.

Good rum in this price range. Deep flavours, good taste.
