Kraken Black Spiced

Unfortunately once the bottle was opened there was no going back. The bottle only lasted a couple of nights between 2.

We enjoyed the taste, not sure about noticing all 11 spices. Only one way to drink it, neat.

Nice spiced smooth rum. Not too sweet. Good price.

Friends recommended this rum to me so I bought a bottle not knowing what to expect. Having only started drinking rum this was an unexpected surprise - spiced it is, but not what I expected. Caramel and vanilla are the first things you smell and the taste certainly backs that up - only a little warmth follows - making it very easy to sit back and sip.

This has to be my choice so far for spiced rums, however i am relatively new to this and wish to discover a lot more. I drink neat and mixed with coke, it wont let you down.

It’s a nice rum to have in your collection, but it is not the one you’ll serve for very special moments. But it’s ok! You can’t do anyting wrong with this one.

Kraken mi připadal jako rum o chuti Amaretto, čili výrazná chuť mandlí zalitá karamelem a medem. Cukernatost šla výrazně cítit na spodní části láhve a mandlová jemnost rumu zase na horní části, tudíž promícháním láhve by jste došli k dokonalosti. Hodnotím spíše tento rum jako párty pití, kde bych si ho určitě dal, ale na nějaké relaxační pití s přáteli, bych si vybral určitě něco jiného. Musím však pochválit designéry Krakenu, samotná láhev s oky má svůj význam. Skvělé držení v ruce při nalévání rumu !

Omamně sladká vůně karamelu a vanilky. Temná barva. Ostrá, ale příjemná chuť.

Fine rum which goes well with cola, but a bit to syrupy for me. Expected more from this one as it was recommended by a friend.
