Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

Plenty of nutty, vanilla and coffee aromas are deliciously supported by the spicy palate and a long, peppery finish

Au nez, nous sommes bien sur un spiced rhum. Si les épices sont présentes, ainsi que la réglisse, la vanille l’est encore plus. On décèle également une pointe de cerise.
En bouche c’est doux. Les épices (girofle) toujours présentes sont, cette fois-ci, rejointes par l’orange. La vanille est présente elle aussi.
La finale est longue sur les épices et la vanille.
Surprisingly taste of rum. Spiced, but not to much. For the price it is a good rum
If you like Captain just stick with it and save your money.
Perfect with coke and an amazing price. Not sure why it get's such a low rating but for mixing and the price it excellent!!!
Perfect for christmas! Spiced, but not too much. Sweeter but still drinkable.

I bought this because of the bottle and hype, but couldn’t make it past the first sip. Tried mixing it with Ginger Ale and ruined the Ginger Ale. Not sure what people are so excited about other than a cool bottle in the cabinet.
Nop ... nop ... spicy rum ... nothing more, nothing less :/
